It’s great to see Home Sales in Coralville up again in October after a flat month in September. 17 homes sold in Coralville in October 2012 compared to 10 in October 2011. In contrast to the last couple of months it was condos that were popular with buyers in Coralville in October.
The absorption rate is down at a low 4.7 months, that’s an average of 143 days on market. That’s a big drop compared to September at 5.7% and probably has to do with sellers taking their homes off the market for the Holidays.
On the whole the trend in the housing market in Coralville continues to look good. Home Sales in Coralville from January through September are up by 20%.
