Quail Creek & Quail Ridge Neighborhoods in North Liberty IA

Choosing the right neighborhood is one of the decisions buyers struggle with when they’re looking at homes in North Liberty. North Liberty is growing so fast and there are so many nice neighborhoods that you’re almost spoilt for choice!Cory Ct, North Liberty Iowa

Ultimately the best neighborhood is the one that is a good fit for the needs of you and your family.  How do you figure  out what you need? Well, the first thing is to look at the location. (Yes, location is still King). Two families I helped buy homes in North Liberty illustrate that buying a home is a very personal experience. They ended up buying in neighborhoods just a couple of blocks apart for very different reasons. What they had in common is that they both wanted to be in established neighborhoods and they both had pre-school age children so access to amenities was important too. Most importantly, one of them needed easy access to the Interstate to get to Cedar Rapids and the other wanted to be close to IA 965 to get to the UI Hospitals by bike. And this is where Central North Liberty becomes an excellent choice for both scenarios.

The Quail Creek and Quail Ridge Neighborhoods are in the heart of North Liberty and a very popular choice with buyers who want to live in established neighborhoods and have easy access to the Interstate without living too close to it. With the extension of South Jones Blvd it’s become real easy to make it onto the Interstate in just a few minutes, without having to make the detour via IA 965. At the same time, via IA 965 and Front St you can be in Coralville in no time and the UI Hospitals is just a stone’s throw from there.

Quail Creek and Quail Ridge Neighborhoods are close to shopping with Fareway and Quail Creek Plaza right around the corner and a number of  Strip Malls along IA 965 with banks, restaurants and all the other amenities you need on a day to day basis. To the south is the Quail Creek Golf Course. And once you’re south of the Golf Course it doesn’t take long to get to North Coralville and all it has to offer. All of this just illustrates that living in the heart of North Liberty you get the best of all worlds. You have the rural setting, close to the Interstate and don’t have to do without any of the amenities you’re used to when living in a larger town like Iowa City.

I’d finish this post there except I haven’t mentioned schools yet and I know they are important to home buyers. The Quail Creek and Quail Ridge Neighborhoods are in the Iowa City Community School District and children attend either the new Garner Elementary School or Van Allen Elementary. The ICCSD has a New Tool On Their Website where residents in the Iowa City area can check which school their children will attend. There continue to be changes in the boundaries of schools in the ICCSD and this is a really helpful tool.
