Iowa City was happy to see the students back in town for the first week of classes last week. How do I know? Well, after a very wet summer the sun decided to shine to welcome our new students. If you’re not familiar with small college towns, let me tell you that you don’t know what you’re missing! I was fortunate last week to be invited me to lunch at the Masala, a popular vegetarian Indian restaurant in downtown Iowa City. It’s on S Dubuque St, close to the University of Iowa Campus so I thought I’d take advantage of the fabulous weather and take a walk and soak up the atmosphere. Of course I always have my camera with me and here are some of the shots I took:
