18 homes sold in Coralville in September 2012 compared to 20 in September 2011. When you look at the chart you’ll see that just like in August it’s single family homes that are popular with buyers in Coralville in September. Zero Lot sales were doing great in Coralville earlier in the year and aren’t doing as great now. Condo sales are also down.
The absorption rate is down just slightly at 5.7 months, that’s an average of 173 days on market. That’s down from 5.8 months in August and a good sign of continuing strength in the Coralville IA real estate market.

On the whole the trend in the housing market in Coralville continues to look good. The data is still bouncing around a bit, but bottom line is that Home Sales in Coralville from January through September are up by 20%. Home prices are also trending in the right direction in Coralville with the average price for a home in Coralville up by 7% so far this year.
