When it comes to family friendly fun entertainment it doesn’t get any better than this! The Iowa City Aerohawks are holding their Annual Radio Control Air Show on Sunday July 11. Events include a freestyle flying competition, helicopter demonstration, candy bomb drop for the kids and much more… And best of all it’s free!
If you were at the 4th of July Parade in Coralville last week you’ll know The Aerohawks had an impressive float with the most amazing model airplanes on show. Now’s your chance to see them in action! Gates open at 12.00 noon and the fun begins at 1.00pm. Bring a chair, there’s so much going on you won’t want to leave until it’s all over at 4.30pm. Directions: Melrose Ave, 2+ miles west of West High School.
