A Picture Perfect Day in a North Ridge Neighborhood, Coralville

North Ridge Neighborhood, Coralville Iowa

Coralville is my home turf and naturally since I live here I have errands to run that take me out into the neighborhoods even when I’m not showing homes. Today was one of those days. March is not done yet and spring has definitely sprung in Iowa! It was so pretty driving around that I got out of my car and took a walk through my favorite park in Coralville, North Ridge Park. This photo was taken on one of the roads bordering on North Ridge Park.

Rolling hills and beautiful tree lined streets are what you can expect if you decide to live in Coralville. Homes around the North Ridge Park Neighborhood comes in all shapes and sizes, condos, zero lots and single family homes. Prices of homes currently listed range from $88,500 for a two bedroom condo to $222,900 for a 4 bedroom single family home. Here’s a link to homes in the North Ridge Neighborhoods currently listed on the Iowa City MLS.

Autumn Colors in the North Ridge Neighborhood, Coralville IA

North Ridge Neighborhood Coralville IA

The North Ridge Neighborhood unsurprisingly borders on North Ridge Park. It’s North of I-80 and on the North West side of Coralville. We’re having beautiful Autumn weather in Iowa this year and last week I took a trip out to my favorite park in Coralville to take some photos of the park and the surrounding neighborhood with the wonderful Fall colors. The North Ridge Neighborhood is close to the University of Iowa Oakdale Campus to the north and Coral Ridge Mall to the south. It’s also just minutes away from exit/entrance 240 for I-80. I’ve helped several clients buy homes in the North of Coralville this year and one thing they all agree on is that they love the rolling hills. I’m not sure the photos do them justice. You’ll have to come visit and see for yourself!

Coralville is relatively small with less than 20,000 residents, and yet you have easy access to everything you could possibly need in the way of amenities.   Coralville Public Library and the newly opened Coralville Center for the Performing Arts are just a few minutes away.  As is Brown Deer Golf  Club, Coralville’s own public golf course.  If you’re relocating to the Iowa City area and are more concerned with access to major employers in the area than with places to spend your free time, then Coralville will work for you too with a short easy commute to the University of Iowa and  UI Hospitals & Clinics, the two largest employers in the area.  If you’re relocating to the Iowa City area, then Coralville should definitely be on your list to explore. And if you too are a fan of rolling hills you may want to take a closer look at the North Ridge Neighborhood. When you’re ready to make your move and need a Buyer’s Agent who knows her Coralville neighborhoods then give me a call or drop me an email.

A Bird’s Eye View of Downtown Coralville from Plaza On Fifth

Plaza on fifth Coralville - view from 4th Floor

The CCPA had it’s open house on Saturday celebrating the National Arts & Humanities Month. It was about time I visited the place I drive past daily and blog about all the time. And with them having an open house in the luxury condominiums above the Theater I knew it would be worth my while to make time to go there this weekend.

It was a beautifully sunny day and it was certainly worth my while. The Theater was very impressive with a well thought out layout. There’s even close circuit TV in a reception area if you need to pop out for some reason during the performance you can be sure not to miss anything.

Two of the luxury condominiums were open for viewing. They too were very impressive with beautiful views of downtown Coralville. These photos were taken from the 4th Floor. I would imagine they are even more impressive from the 6th Floor. If you’re interested in finding out more about these luxury condominiums – Price, floor plans and more – You can find it on the website PlazaonFifth.com. If you need some assistance from a buyer’s agent, deciding if you want to live here or in another of the fine condominium opportunities in Coralville or surrounding areas, just give me a call.

2236 Oakleaf St, Coralville – Sold

View from curb 2236 Oakleaf St, Coralville

Oakleaf St is in the nice established Oakridge neighborhood in central Coralville, close to all the amenities you could possibly need. The bus stop is round the corner, Coral Ridge Mall is 5 minutes away, Lantern Park Plaza with Hyvee, Hobby Lobby and other retail stores are all within walking distance. 2nd Street, (AKA Coralville Strip) is within walking distance too. The best thing about Oakleaf St is that it’s close to all these amenities, but isn’t a through road.

Located off of 9th St the only folks who drive there are folks who live there or are visiting. I’m pretty sure folks there think I live there as I’m there all the time! At the beginning of the year I had 2237 Oakleaf St listed and that sold in May. Soon after that I listed 2235 Oakleaf St and that sold at the beginning of September. This home at 2236 Oakleaf St got an accepted offer in less than 60 days and closed in November. I guess you could call me your “go to” gal for listing and selling homes on Oakleaf St now!
