So here’s the lowdown on me: I’m a Realtor helping clients buy and sell homes in Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty Iowa.
I work with a lot of “first timers”. That includes first time buyers, folks relocating to the Iowa City area, (in my eyes if you’re relocating to Iowa City it will be the first home you buy a home here, so that makes you a “first timer”). Just lately I’ve helped a growing number of first time sellers too. There’s quite a lot to know in a real estate transaction and I think the fact that I come from a background in education means I explain things pretty well, a definite plus if you’re new to the process.
My strong suit is that I have a real easy time getting along with most people. Originally from the UK, (Wales to be exact), I’ve spent a lot of time in foreign countries, including Hongkong, Singapore and Germany, so I’ve had lots of practice in meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. This might be a good time to mention I speak fluent German too. (Mostly I think I have a typical British accent, but German speakers hear more than that). Anyway, getting back on topic, all the moving around in different countries means I know all about the hassles involved with relocating too. This experience puts me in a unique position when it comes to understanding your concerns about your move.
I’ve lived in the Iowa City area for more than ten years and feel right at home in what is a very diverse area of the Midwest with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. When it comes to moving it really doesn’t matter whether you’re moving from across town or across the country, you will have concerns. I’m a great listener and whatever comes up I’ll either know how to help, or know where to go to get the help you need. In my book there are no problems, just solutions! Got questions?
